Team Barley Forge Rides Again.
For the third year in a row, the Barley Forge Cycle Team will once again embark on the Bike MS: Bay to Bay Ride, this October. Voted “Best Cycling Event” eight times by the readers of Competitor magazine, this “Bay to Bay” ride is an annual cycling adventure hosting 2,500 participants along California’s beautiful Pacific south coast, from Orange County to San Diego. First organized in 1982, the Bay to Bay Ride raises both awareness and funds to help find a cure for MS, a degenerative disease of the nervous system that affects millions of people.
Join The Team
Not only is cycling great for your health and fitness, it’s a great way to make a difference in the world and help us to eradicate MS. Team Barley Forge is training all summer for the two-day 100 mile ride this fall, with a goal of raising $5,000 for the cause. Anyone is welcome to join the team, and you don’t even have to ride a real bicycle to help us reach our goal — there are also options for “Virtual” Cyclists to ride stationary bikes, and for Volunteers who can help in other ways. And, of course anyone and everyone is invited to help out with a donation. You’ll find all you need to know about Bike:MS here, and about our Team’s ride here.
